Submicron Particle Count Testing is the unique
approach to identify the possible Sars-Cov-2 infection in the buildings,
and even the patients
|
||||||
Regular PM 2.5 or PM 10 particle count can not tell if a building is infected with Sars-Cov-2 virus or not. As we know, the ARS-Cov-2 virus causing Covid-19 has a size range of 60 nm ~ 140 nm (0.06 ~ 0.14 microns). If the building is infected, there will be lots of virus particles floating in the air stream. The virus will not be removed by the regular filters in the HVAC system. With WH Engineering's SPLC system, the submicron particle count readings can be obtained instantly as the air stream passes through the dedicated instrument. We have found that the moisture and humidity will have no impact on the readings. However, the smoke in the air stream will have significant impact on the reading. As long as the building has no smoke residue inside, we can almost certain that the building has been infected with virus if the reading has reached the threshold level. Upon discovery, we will study the building HVAC system, and work with the clients to develop a strategy to further confirm the existence of the viruses, or disinfect the building directly. |

WH
Engineering's Submicron Particle Laser Counting System
(SPLC) can remove all particles with any sizes above
1.0 micron, and the equipped high sensitive laser particle count sensor
will be able to read the submicron particle count with a resolution of
0.1 µg/m³ instantly.

Engineering SLPC system
|

>>> Building Virus Contamination Level Investigation: We will generally start by reading the submicron particle count of the exhaust air stream. The reading will be taken from outside the building, near exhaust air openings, to determine hazard level, and plan for the further testing locations within the building. The clients will be notified instantly, because we will get the result in less than one minute. >>> Building Entry Control through breath test: WH Engineering SPLC system is also available for rental, and installed at client's facilities, to control the building entrance through "breath test". The SLPCs will be able to identify the possible superspreader of Covid-19 patients at the building entrances. |
